Intensifier of Fire, Purifier of Spirit
These sun-dried chili peppers are used in the Bwiti spiritual sauna to awaken the body and sharpen spiritual perception. When placed on hot stones during the ritual, their pungent aroma rises with the steam, stimulating circulation, clearing stagnant energy, and preparing the initiate for deeper visionary states.
Harvested in equatorial heat and preserved naturally, this chili embodies the element of fire — used by Bwiti healers to “burn away fear, awaken the warrior, and protect the soul.” It is never ingested but offered to the steam as a sacred enhancer of the spiritual cleanse.
Usage:
Crush lightly and place a small pinch on the hot stones in the sauna. Breathe with intention. Let the fire speak.
