Description:

The Ngombi is the sacred harp of the Bwiti — a vessel of sound, memory, and spiritual presence. Played during initiations, healings, and deep vision ceremonies, its melodic voice calls forth the ancestors and carries sacred teachings into the heart of the initiate. Each Ngombi offered here is entirely handcrafted in Moughenda’s village by Papa Boussengue, a revered Nganga, spiritual father, and one of the most respected Ngombi players in Gabon. With his hands, the instrument becomes alive — tuned not only for sound, but for spirit. When played, the Ngombi resonates through the bones, aligning the body with the unseen. Its strings speak of the forest, the lineage, and the sacred flame of Bwiti truth.
